Emergency roof repairs in Boston

Wind damage, and what it takes first

A gale off the wash goes for the exposed edges before anything else. Verge tiles on a gable end, ridge tiles whose mortar had already cracked, and any pantile that had started to sit proud of its neighbour. Once one goes it takes the next with it, and the gap left behind lets rain straight onto felt that was never meant to be the outer layer.

Made safe, then put right

The first visit stops the water and makes the roof safe, which in bad weather may mean a temporary cover rather than a finished repair. The lasting work happens once the roof is dry enough to do it properly. We will tell you plainly which of the two we are doing on the day rather than dress a hold-together up as a fix.
