Emergency roof repairs in Bourne
Leaks and storm damage made safe, day or night. Ring 01406 704369, and if we don't answer we're on a roof: leave a message and we'll call straight back.
Water coming into the house is not a thing to sleep on. If your roof has gone in Bourne, ring 01406 704369 at whatever hour it is. We answer day and night because weather does not keep office hours, and Bourne is about ten miles along the A151 from us, so getting there is quick.
What counts as an emergency
Anything letting water in, and anything at risk of coming down onto a path or a car. After a bad night that usually means:
- Tiles or slates lifted, slipped or brought down altogether
- Water coming through a ceiling or running down a wall inside
- Lead flashing peeled back from a chimney or a valley
- Ridge tiles worked loose and sitting badly on the apex
Wind funnels along the open ground west of the town and finds the weak point on a roof rather than the whole of it, so it is common for one gust to take a single tile and leave the rest untouched. If you cannot tell whether yours needs someone tonight, ring and describe it. We will tell you honestly whether it waits for daylight.
Made safe first, repaired properly after
The first visit is about stopping the water and making the roof safe, not selling you anything. Once it is watertight we photograph what we found so you can see the damage yourself, then explain what the roof needs and put the price in writing before any repair goes ahead. A temporary cover holding until the weather allows a proper job is a perfectly good outcome for night one.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Emergency Roof Repairs in Bourne: common questions
Will someone really answer in the middle of the night?
Yes. The line is answered day and night for leaks and storm damage. If nobody picks up it means we are up a ladder, so leave a message and you will get a call back.
How quickly can you get to Bourne?
Bourne is about ten miles from us on the A151, one of the shorter runs on our patch. We will tell you honestly on the phone when we can be there rather than promise a time we cannot keep.
What can I do before you arrive?
Put a bucket under the drip, move what you can out of the way and switch off electrics in the affected room if water is anywhere near a light or a socket. Stay off the roof yourself, especially in wind.
Is emergency work still quoted in writing?
The making-safe happens first, then you get photographs of the damage and a written quote for the repair. The price quoted is the price paid.
