About EverCrest Property Care

Roofers based in Spalding, working across the areas we cover of it since 2018.

  • Working since 2018
  • Based in Spalding

EverCrest Property Care is a roofing firm based in Spalding. We have been working since 2018, and the areas page lists every area we cover, from Spalding and Holbeach out to Lincoln, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Newark and Peterborough.

Most of what we do is roofs: repairs, full re-roofs, flat roofs, chimneys, ridge and verge, fascias and guttering, and cleaning moss off tiles that have not seen daylight in years. We also take on the two jobs people struggle to find anyone for, stripping spray foam out of a loft and pulling failed cavity wall insulation back out of a wall.

The things customers write about us afterwards are not really about roofing. They are that the price we quoted was the price they paid, and that they knew when the scaffolding was coming, when the skip was coming and when we would be on the roof. One customer needed tiles that had not been manufactured for years, so we found them at a salvage yard rather than leave a patch that did not match. That is the part of the job we would rather be judged on.

We carry public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job. A new roof is guaranteed for 25 years, a new flat roof for 10, and a repair for five or ten years depending on what we have put right, and you are handed a printed certificate signed by a director. Re-roofs also go through Building Control, are inspected, and you are issued your own completion certificate at the end. Our reviews are on Google, Checkatrade, MyBuilder and Bark, all four of them places we cannot edit.

We also put money from our work into the neonatal unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn. The most recent donation was £250, on 21 May 2026. The sticker is on the van.

Why EverCrest

The price we quote is the price you pay

Read the reviews and the same things come up over and over: the price holds, you're kept in the loop, the materials aren't skimped on, and the fiddly jobs get done properly.

  • 1
    The quote holds

Customers single this out unprompted. The price agreed at the start is the price at the end.

  • 2
    You're told what happens next

When the scaffolding goes up, when the skip and the materials land, when the work starts. No chasing.

  • 3
    Quality materials, no cost cutting

A customer's words, not ours. We would rather price the job properly once than save money on the parts of a roof you never see.

  • 4
The awkward jobs get done properly

One customer's tiles hadn't been made for years, so they were tracked down at a salvage yard to match the rest of the roof.

What people say

Word of mouth, written down

One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
