Emergency Roof Repairs
Storm damage and leaks made safe, day or night.
A roof rarely fails at a convenient hour. When wind strips tiles at midnight or water starts dripping through a bedroom ceiling on a Sunday, ring us on 01406 704369. The phone is answered day or night, because we run around the clock for storm damage and roof leaks. If nobody picks up, we are on a roof: leave a message and you will get a call back. The first job is always the same, make the roof safe and stop the water, then sort the proper repair.
What our emergency service covers
Storm damage
Wind can lift tiles, loosen ridge lines and leave a roof open to the next band of rain. We secure whatever has come loose, cover whatever is exposed and put the damage right once the roof is safe to work on.
Sudden leaks
Water often shows up indoors a long way from where it gets in. We trace the real entry point, make it watertight and then carry out a lasting repair rather than a patch that gives up the next wet week. One customer rang with an urgent leak and had it repaired at two days' notice, with the failed tiles and felt replaced.
What happens when you ring
- Call 01406 704369, at any hour, or send the form if it can wait until morning.
- We ring you back and work out with you how urgent it is.
- We come out and look, and we photograph what we find up there so you can see the problem for yourself.
- We explain what it needs in plain words, with no pressure and no upselling.
- You get a price in writing, and the price quoted is the price paid.
Emergency work carries the same guarantee as everything else we do, five or ten years depending on the work, and we hold public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job. The photographs we take also give you a clear record of what happened and what was done, which is useful if you need to talk to your insurer afterwards.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.

Before you ring
Questions we get asked about emergency roof repairs
Who do I call for an emergency roofer near Spalding?
Ring us on 01406 704369. We are based in Spalding and cover south Lincolnshire, and the phone is answered day or night. If we are up on a roof when you call, leave a message and we will ring you straight back.
What should I do while I wait for you to arrive?
Stay off the roof. Catch water in buckets, move furniture and electricals out of the way, and if a ceiling is bulging with water, keep out of that room. We will make the roof safe when we get there.
How much does an emergency roof leak repair cost?
Every emergency is different, so we never guess over the phone. We come out, look, show you photographs of what we find and give you a price in writing before the repair work starts. That written price is what you pay.
Can you help with a storm damage insurance claim?
We photograph the damage when we inspect it and put everything we propose in writing, which gives you a clear, dated record to pass to your insurer along with our quote.
Do you only make the roof safe, or do you repair it too?
Both. Making it safe and watertight comes first, whatever the hour. The full repair follows once you have agreed the written price, and it is guaranteed for five or ten years.
