Roofing in Bourne
EverCrest Property Care Ltd covers Bourne and the villages around it. Tell us what needs doing and we will come and look at it.
Bourne sits about ten miles west of us along the A151, close enough that it is an easy run out and back in a morning. It is a proper market town built around springs, and St Peter's Pool still feeds the Bourne Eau through the Wellhead Gardens. We cover the town and the PE10 villages around it.
Abbey stone, Victorian brick and the estates
Bourne gives a roofer three quite different jobs in one town. Around the Abbey Church and the older streets there is stone and clay pantile, and both want materials matched to what is already up there rather than the nearest thing on the merchant's shelf. The Victorian brick terraces off North Street and West Street carry slate, shared chimney stacks and lead work that has to be right first time. Then the newer estates spreading north and east have roofs young enough to look fine from the ground and old enough for the felt, verges and guttering to start letting go together.
What we take on here
- Slipped, cracked and missing tiles and slates
- Leaks traced to the actual source rather than the wet patch
- Chimney repointing and rebuilds, and flashing renewed
- Fascias, soffits and guttering, and moss cleaned off tired roofs
- Flat roofs on garages, extensions and dormers
- Full re-roofs where a repair would only buy a year
How a Bourne job runs
Ring 01406 704369 or send the form and we call you back. We come out, get up on the roof and photograph what we find, so you are looking at the same pictures we are instead of taking our word for it. We tell you what needs doing now and what can wait, and the quote comes in writing. The price quoted is the price paid. Once you say yes you are told when the scaffolding, the skip and the materials arrive. Every job is insured and guaranteed for five years at minimum.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Roofing in Bourne: your questions
You are in Spalding. Is Bourne really on your patch?
It is, and it is one of the closer parts of it. Bourne is about ten miles along the A151, nearer to us than Boston and a fraction of the run out to Newark, so a single repair here is worth our time same as a re-roof.
Do you cover the villages around Bourne as well as the town?
Yes, the PE10 area around the town as well as Bourne itself. If you are out towards Morton, Thurlby or Dyke, ring us the same as anyone in town.
What will roof work in Bourne cost?
We will not put a figure on a roof we have not seen, because no two are in the same state. The visit, the photographs and the written quote are free, and the number on the quote is the number you pay.
My roof is leaking now. Will anyone answer?
Ring 01406 704369 at any hour. The phone is answered day and night for leaks and storm damage, and if nobody picks up we are on a roof, so leave a message and you will get a call back.
