Re-roofing and new roofs in Sleaford
Full re-roofs and new roofs, tiled and slate, quoted in writing after a free visit and guaranteed for 25 years.
There comes a point where patching a worn-out roof is throwing good money after bad. If you are repairing the same slope every winter, the felt is crumbling, or the battens have had it, a re-roof puts the problem to bed for good instead of renting it a room. We carry out full re-roofs and new roofs, tiled and slate, and we cover Sleaford and the villages of NG34.
What goes into our re-roofs
On our photographed re-roof, the one on our projects page, we stripped the roof back and rebuilt it with Proctor Air breathable membrane, treated battens and anthracite interlocking tiles, finished with dry-fix ridge and hips and complete new lead work to the chimney: soakers, step flashing, apron and back gutter, plus new guttering and downpipes. Those are the materials we use, chosen to outlast the people fitting them.
How the job runs
- You ring or send the form, and we call you back.
- We come out, look at the roof and photograph what we find so you can see it too.
- We explain what it needs and you get a price in writing.
- You are told when the scaffolding, skip and materials will arrive.
No pressure and no upselling at any stage. If the roof can be repaired instead of replaced, we will say so.
Checked and guaranteed
On one of our full re-roofs, an independent Building Control inspector from Boston Borough Council checked the work twice and signed it off. We like that kind of scrutiny. Every roof we build is guaranteed for 25 years and covered by public liability and employer's liability insurance.
A roof that suits the street
Sleaford's older streets carry stone and brick buildings with roofs to match, while the newer estates around the town wear modern tiles. Whatever your house is, the new roof should look like it belongs on it. At the quote visit in Sleaford we will talk through tile choices with you before a single price is written down.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Re-Roofing & New Roofs in Sleaford: common questions
How much does a new roof cost in Sleaford?
Any figure given before someone has stood on your roof is a guess, and we do not deal in guesses. Every roof differs in size, pitch, materials and what the strip-off uncovers. We survey for free, then the full price goes in writing, and the written price is what you pay.
How long will a re-roof take?
It depends on the size of the roof and what we find under the old covering, so we will not promise a number of days here. What we do promise is a clear plan: when we quote, we tell you when the scaffolding, skip and materials will arrive and keep you informed from there.
Do you sort the scaffolding and the skip?
Yes, all arranged as part of the job. Once you accept the written quote, you are told when the scaffolding, the skip and the materials are turning up, so nothing lands outside your house as a surprise.
Is the finished roof guaranteed?
Every job carries our 25 year guarantee, and one of our full re-roofs was inspected twice by an independent Building Control inspector from Boston Borough Council and signed off both times. We are comfortable being checked.
