On a recent full re-roof we stripped the old covering, then built the roof back up with Proctor Air breathable membrane, treated battens and anthracite interlocking tiles, finished with dry-fix ridge and hips so there is no mortar up there to crack and fall out. The chimney got new lead soakers, step flashing, an apron and a back gutter, and the job was completed with new guttering and downpipes. That is the standard we work to.

Checked by someone who does not work for us

On one of our full re-roofs, an independent Building Control inspector from Boston Borough Council checked the work twice and signed it off. We would rather a roof be inspected than taken on trust, because the work stands up to it.

What happens between quote and finish

We come out, look at the roof, photograph what we find and talk you through it. You get a price in writing, and the price quoted is the price paid. Once you say yes, you are told when the scaffolding, the skip and the materials will arrive, so nothing turns up outside your house unannounced. No pressure at any stage, and no upselling.
