Roof repairs in Grantham
Slipped tiles, leaks and lead flashing put right, with photographs of what we find and a price in writing.
A slipped tile lets water in long before anything shows on a ceiling. We are roofers covering Grantham for repairs of every size: slipped and broken tiles, leaks, and lead flashing that has cracked or lifted. You ring, we come and look, and you get photographs of the problem along with a written price.
Tiles, slates and lead
Most repairs come down to a few honest jobs done well. Refixing or replacing slipped tiles and slates. Tracing a leak back to where the water actually gets in, which is often nowhere near where the stain shows. Renewing the lead around chimneys and abutments, from soakers and step flashing to aprons and back gutters, so the joint sheds water the way it should. Where battens or felt have gone, we replace them with proper materials rather than patching over the top.
Older roofs around Grantham
Grantham has plenty of Victorian terraces and stone-built older properties, and roofs like that deserve repairs that blend in rather than shout. When a tile has been discontinued we have matched replacements from a salvage yard before, so the repair sat quietly with the rest of the roof. We would rather hunt down the right tile than fit the wrong one.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Roof Repairs in Grantham: common questions
You're based in Spalding. Do you actually cover Grantham?
We do. Our patch runs from PE11 and PE12 across to NG31, NG32, NG33 and NG34, so Grantham sits inside it, not on the edge of it. You get the same free written quote and the same five or ten year guarantee as anyone nearer our base.
Can you match the tiles on an older terrace roof?
Usually, yes. Where a tile is no longer made we have sourced matching ones from a salvage yard so the repair blended in with the rest of the roof. If a perfect match isn't possible we will show you the options before any work starts.
How much does a roof repair cost in Grantham?
There's no honest one-size answer: a slipped tile and a failed lead valley are very different jobs. We come and look for free, photograph what we find and put the price in writing. What we quote is what you pay.
Is one slipped tile really worth a phone call?
Yes. One slipped tile is a cheap fix now and a soaked loft later. Ring us, send a photo if you can, and we will tell you straight whether it needs us out or can safely wait.
