Re-roofing and new roofs in Weston
Full re-roofs and new roofs, tiled and slate, for Weston near Spalding. Free written quotes and a 25 year guarantee.
Some roofs get past patching. When the repairs start chasing each other across the slope, a full re-roof is the honest answer, and it is work we know inside out. We are based in Spalding, so a re-roof in Weston is about as close to home as our jobs get: the village is just along the A151, with Weston Hills beside it, both in south Lincolnshire.
From first phone call to finished ridge
You ring or send the form and we call you back. We come out, go over the roof and photograph what we find so you can see the condition for yourself. We explain what it needs, you get a price in writing, and then you are told when the scaffolding, the skip and the materials will arrive. No pressure and no upselling at any point. That is how one customer described the process, and it is how every job runs.
What we build a roof with
- Proctor Air breathable membrane over treated battens.
- Tiled or slate coverings; on a recent re-roof we used anthracite interlocking tiles.
- Dry-fix ridge and hips, so there is no mortar to crack and wash out.
- New lead soakers, step flashing, apron and back gutter where a chimney needs them.
- New guttering and downpipes to finish the job off.
Checked, signed off and guaranteed
On one of our full re-roofs, an independent Building Control inspector from Boston Borough Council checked the work twice and signed it off. Every roof we put on carries a 25 year guarantee, we hold public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job, and customers across Google, Checkatrade, MyBuilder and Bark rate us 5.0.
Close enough to keep an eye on
Weston is minutes from our base, which matters more than it sounds on a job with scaffolding and deliveries to coordinate. If you are weighing up a re-roof in Weston or Weston Hills, the place to start is a proper look at what is actually up there, and that is exactly where our process begins.
- Guaranteed for 25 years

- No price creep: you pay what we quoted
- Insured for public and employer's liability

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Re-Roofing & New Roofs in Weston: common questions
What does a new roof cost in the UK?
There is no honest single answer: the size of the roof, the covering, the lead work and the state of the timbers all change it. What we can promise is a free visit, a written quote, and a final bill that matches it.
Do you re-roof houses in Weston Hills as well as Weston itself?
Yes. Both villages sit just outside Spalding and both are on our home patch, so a re-roof in either is covered exactly the same way.
Do you work in tile and slate?
We do both full re-roofs and new roofs in tile and slate. When we come out to look we will talk through what suits your roof and show you photographs of what we find up there.
Will I know when the scaffolding is coming?
Yes. Once you accept the written quote, we tell you when the scaffolding, the skip and the materials will arrive, so the job never just turns up on you.
