Flat roofing in Gedney
Garage, extension and outbuilding flat roofs, including rubber flat roofs, for homes across the parish. Free quotes, always in writing.
Plenty of homes around Gedney have more than one roof to think about. There is the main house, then the garage, the extension on the back, and on the farm plots a run of outbuildings behind them, and it is usually the flat roofs among that lot that give up first.
Rubber flat roofs, garages and extensions
We fit garage and extension flat roofs, including rubber flat roofs. One of the rubber roofs in our gallery has a lantern rooflight set into it, so going flat does not have to mean a dark room underneath. Whatever the covering, the job gets the same treatment as any pitched roof we do: done properly, guaranteed for 10 years, with public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job.
Farmhouses and the buildings behind them
Gedney parish is farming country, and a farmhouse rarely stands alone. Workshops, stores and lean-tos pick up flat roofs over the years, and they get the same weather as the house with a lot less attention. We look after those too. One customer had a full roof replacement plus a garage flat roof from us, house and garage both sorted, so you do not need a different roofer for every building on the plot.
An honest look before any money changes hands
A flat roof is hard to judge from the ground, so we come and look before we say anything. We photograph what we find, felt gone brittle, ponding water, edges lifting, and show you the pictures so you can see the condition for yourself. Then we explain what it needs, whether that is a repair or a new covering, and you get a price in writing. The price quoted is the price paid, and there is no pressure and no upselling.
Out towards Gedney Drove End the rain comes off the marsh with nothing in the way, and a flat roof that is starting to fail will not fail slowly there. If yours is holding water or lifting at the edges, it is worth getting eyes on it sooner rather than later.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.

Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Flat Roofing in Gedney: common questions
What does it cost to replace a flat roof in Gedney?
There is no set price, because garage, extension and outbuilding roofs vary so much in size and condition. We look for free, photograph what we find, and give you a quote in writing. What we quote is what you pay.
Do you do flat roofs on farm outbuildings as well as houses?
Yes. Around Gedney a lot of the flat roofs sit on outbuildings, workshops and lean-tos rather than the house itself, and we cover those too, all guaranteed for 10 years.
Can a flat roof have a rooflight?
Yes. One of the rubber flat roofs in our gallery was fitted with a lantern rooflight, so a flat-roofed room does not have to be a dark one.
Can you do the house roof and the garage at the same time?
Yes. One customer had a full roof replacement plus a garage flat roof from us as the same job, and everything was priced in writing before we started.
