Flat roofing in Sutton Bridge
Rubber flat roofs for garages and extensions, quoted free and in writing after we've been up and had a proper look.
A flat roof has nowhere to hide in Sutton Bridge. A pitched roof sheds most of what the weather throws at it, but a garage or extension roof takes the rain flat on its back while the wind off the Wash scours across the surface, hunting for a lap or a blister to get under. Old felt ages quickly in those conditions, and once it cracks, the water sits there rather than running away.
Rubber roofs that suit an exposed spot
We fit rubber flat roofs on garages and extensions. Rubber goes down as a membrane that stays flexible instead of turning brittle, so it copes with the flexing and the temperature swings that split tired felt. There are no mortar details for the salt air to eat at, and standing water after a downpour does not bother it the way it bothers a felt roof that has started to bubble. One rubber roof in our gallery has a lantern rooflight set into it, so a flat roof does not have to mean a dark room underneath.
From garage roofs to whole projects
No job is too ordinary. One customer had us replace their garage flat roof alongside a full roof replacement on the house, and the small roof got the same care as the big one. Whether it is a single garage or the roof over your kitchen extension, the same process applies in Sutton Bridge as everywhere we work: we come out, get up and look, photograph what is there and talk you through it before a price is ever mentioned.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Flat Roofing in Sutton Bridge: common questions
How much does a flat roof replacement cost in Sutton Bridge?
It varies too much for a headline figure: the size of the roof, the edge details, any rooflights and the condition of the deck underneath all play a part. We look at yours for free and give you the price in writing. That figure is what you pay.
Is rubber a good choice this close to the Wash?
We think so, which is why we fit it. It stays flexible rather than cracking, there is no mortar for the weather to work at, and sitting water after driven rain does far less harm than it does to worn felt.
Can you fit a rooflight into a flat roof?
Yes. One of the rubber roofs in our gallery has a lantern rooflight built in, which turns the room below from the darkest in the house into one of the brightest.
Do you bother with small garage roofs?
Gladly. One customer had a garage flat roof done alongside a full re-roof of the house, and single garage roofs on their own get the same written quote and the same 10 year guarantee.
