Emergency roof repairs in Pinchbeck
Storm damage and roof leaks made safe, day or night. Ring 01406 704369; if nobody answers we are on a roof, so leave a message and you will get a call back.
Water through the ceiling does not wait for a convenient hour, and neither do we. Our emergency line is answered day and night, and Pinchbeck is about as close to our Spalding base as a village can be, effectively ten minutes up the road.
Stop the water, then sort it properly
The first visit is about making the roof safe: getting the leak stopped and the house watertight. While we are up there we photograph what we find, so you can see the damage for yourself rather than take our word for it. Then we explain what the roof actually needs, and if there is follow-up work to do you get a free quote in writing. The price we quote is the price you pay. One customer had an emergency leak repaired at two days' notice, with the broken tiles and the felt under them replaced.
Two kinds of house, two kinds of call
Pinchbeck is a big village with two kinds of roof. Around the older core you have pantiles and chimneys, where a storm tends to slip a tile or lift the lead. Out on the modern estates the trouble is more often a leaking porch or garage flat roof, a cracked verge or a ridge tile working loose. We handle both, and we treat a dripping porch on a newer estate house just as seriously as a hole in a cottage roof.
What to do while you wait
- Put a bucket under the drip and move anything that will spoil.
- If water is anywhere near a light fitting, leave that light off.
- Stay off ladders in the wind and the wet. Tiles on the lawn can wait until morning; a fall cannot be undone.
- Ring 01406 704369 and tell us what you can see from the ground.
Made safe is not the same as mended
Temporary cover keeps the weather out, but the roof still needs putting right. When we come back for the proper repair, the work is guaranteed for five or ten years depending on the work, in Pinchbeck as everywhere else we work, and we carry public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

Emergency Roof Repairs in Pinchbeck: common questions
How fast can you get to Pinchbeck?
We will not promise a time we cannot keep, but we are based in Spalding and Pinchbeck is right on the northern edge of town, roughly ten minutes from us. The line is answered day and night; if we miss your call we are on a roof, and you will get a call back as soon as we are down.
Is a leaking porch roof really worth an emergency call?
If water is getting into the house, yes. Porch and garage flat roofs on modern estate houses are a perfectly normal call for us, and a small drip left alone soon ruins plasterboard and timber. We would rather make it safe early than watch the damage spread.
What does an emergency roof repair in Pinchbeck cost?
There is no honest flat answer, because a slipped tile and a storm-wrecked ridge are very different jobs. We make the roof safe, show you photographs of the damage, and give you a free written quote for the proper repair. The price on that quote is the price you pay.
Do you really answer at night?
Yes. We run around the clock for emergency leaks and storm damage. If nobody picks up it is because we are up on a roof; leave a message and we will ring you back.
