Emergency roof repairs in Fleet Hargate
Storm damage and roof leaks made safe day or night, from a roofing firm based just up the road.
A roof never leaks at a convenient time. If water is coming in, or a gale has taken tiles off, ring us on 01406 704369. The phone is answered day and night. If nobody picks up we are on a roof, so leave a message and you will get a call back.
Storm damage and leaks made safe
Our first job is to stop things getting worse. That might mean covering an opened-up section of roof, refixing what can be refixed, or cutting off the route the water is taking into the house. Once the roof is safe and the inside of your home is protected, we can talk about the permanent repair calmly, rather than making rushed decisions in a wet loft at midnight.
What happens when you ring
You call, we call back, and we come out and look. We photograph what we find up there so you can see exactly what we are dealing with, then we explain what it needs in plain words. The price for the proper repair comes in writing, and the price quoted is the price paid. One customer had an emergency leak put right at two days' notice, with the damaged tiles and felt replaced rather than patched over, and that is the standard we work to whatever the hour.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.

Emergency Roof Repairs in Fleet Hargate: common questions
Will anyone actually answer if I ring at 2am?
Yes. The phone is answered day and night, because storm damage and leaks do not keep office hours. If we cannot pick up we are on a roof: leave a message and you will get a call back.
What does an emergency roof repair cost?
There is no honest flat answer, because no two leaks are the same. We make the roof safe, then you get a written price for the proper repair before that work starts, and the price quoted is the price paid.
Water has marked the ceiling but nothing is dripping. Should I still call?
Yes. A stain means water has already found a way in, and it rarely gives up on its own. Ring us and we will come and look, photograph what we find, and tell you honestly whether it can wait or not.
Do you cover the rest of Fleet parish?
We do. Fleet Hargate, the wider parish and the surrounding villages are all comfortably inside our patch, day or night.
