Emergency roof repairs in Whaplode
A leaking roof does not wait for morning. Ring 01406 704369 and we will answer, day or night.
We drive through Whaplode most working days. The village sits on the main road between Spalding, where we are based, and Holbeach, so when a roof lets go here we do not have far to come. Ring 01406 704369 whenever it happens. The phone is answered day and night, and if nobody picks up it is because we are up on a roof, so leave a message and you will get a call straight back.
Storm damage and leaks made safe
Wind off the fen does not take weekends off, and the older properties strung along the main road have roofs that have already stood through plenty of it. When a tile lifts or a leak starts, the first job is stopping water getting in before it ruins ceilings and plaster. We make the roof safe first, then sort the proper repair once the weather allows.
What happens when you call
We come out, get up and look, and photograph what we find so you can see exactly what we are seeing. Then we explain what the roof needs in plain terms and put the price in writing. One customer had an emergency leak repaired at two days' notice, with tiles and felt replaced, and the price they were quoted was the price they paid. Every job runs that way, emergency or not.
From Saracen's Head to the fen
Whaplode is a long parish and we cover all of it: the houses along the main road, Saracen's Head, and the farms out on the fen where a leak can go unnoticed until it has done real damage. Wherever you are, the same rules apply. You get a free quote in writing, work guaranteed for five or ten years depending on the work, and public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job.
A contribution from every job we complete goes to the QEH King's Lynn NICU charity, so a mended roof in Whaplode does a bit of good further afield too.

What people say
In their words, not ours
One of the problems of finding a roofer when you are an older person is the thought of being scammed, especially given the increasing numbers of rogue traders together with the high costs at stake especially if the work is poor or non existent. We trawled a lot of roofers and found varying prices and limited experience and ‘one man bands’ offering little or no guarantees for their work. We came across Fred’s newly formed EverCrest Property Care Ltd Company and were initially concerned at the limited 3 months or so that they had been trading for, albeit that Fred had been a Sole Trader for some 6 years. So we undertook a ‘due diligence’ on the company and found they had worked on a limited number of roofing projects in the start up time. However having had a number of positive conversations with Fred we decided to give his company a chance having had a very good response and price to our required specification that formed the basis of our Building Control Application through Boston Borough Council. They say you can only make a first impression once and EverCrest Property Care Ltd certainly made an excellent impression indeed, in fact the work they undertook was first class and our Building Control Inspector was equally impressed with the standard of works they carried out. Our project involved replacing a main roof on a detached property and likewise on a kitchen extension. Work commenced on a Friday with the scaffolding being erected along with the delivery of two skips. On the Monday morning around 8:30am a team of 7 arrived on site and by 10am both roofs had been stripped and the Building Inspector was called early to check out the structure prior to the roofers installing the new insulation, membrane and battening in readiness for the new soffits, guttering and tiles being installed from Tuesday onwards. By Thursday the project had been completed and the Building Inspector returned first thing Friday morning and signed off the work having been impressed with the finished work. On the basis of the above experience we would have no hesitation in recommending EverCrest Property Care Ltd as a suitable and very experienced roofing contractor and would be happy to give any references to their standard of works.
Brilliant work! Reasonable price a friendly. Recommend to anyone. Sorted out my roof after 3 companies turned me down.
Amazing roof repair everything finished to a high standard, good communication and reasonable priced would definetly recommend.

If we ring from Whaplode in the middle of the night, will you really pick up?
Yes. We run 24 hours for emergency roof leaks and storm damage, and 01406 704369 is answered day or night. If we do not pick up, we are on a roof. Leave a message and you will get a call back.
What will an emergency roof repair in Whaplode cost us?
There is no set figure, because no two leaks are the same. We come and look for free, photograph what we find, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. The price quoted is the price paid.
Do you cover Saracen's Head and the fen ends of the parish?
We do. Saracen's Head is part of Whaplode parish and sits right on our route between Spalding and Holbeach, and we go out to the farms on the fen as well.
Can you just make our Whaplode roof safe for now and do the full repair later?
Yes. If the weather is still bad or you want time to think, we will make the roof watertight and safe first, then quote for the full repair in writing. No pressure to go ahead.
