Slate Roof Restoration with Lead Ridge & Chimney Flashing

A full slate roof restoration on a period property: existing Welsh slates were stripped, sorted and re-laid over new breathable membrane and battens, with all broken or delaminated slates replaced like-for-like. A new lead ridge was dressed in over a continuous dry-ridge system, chimney flashings were replaced in code 4 lead, and a new Velux roof window was flashed in with proper apron and soakers.

New Build Roof in Graphite Interlocking Tiles

A new build project roofed in graphite interlocking concrete tiles over breathable membrane and treated battens. Multiple pitches, hips and valleys were detailed with lead valley liners, dry-hip and dry-ridge systems, and Velux roof windows flashed in over the extension. Clean lines, accurate setting-out and proper ventilation throughout.

Indian Sandstone Patio with Drainage & Sleeper Borders

A full back-garden transformation: a riven Indian sandstone patio laid in a random pattern, framed by sleeper-edged raised beds and finished with a recessed ACO drainage channel running along the lower edge. The drainage detail keeps the patio dry through wet Fenland winters and protects the timber sleepers from sitting water.

Indian Sandstone Front Driveway

A semi-detached front garden converted to a hard-wearing Indian sandstone driveway. A contrasting charcoal block-paving soldier course and concrete kerb edge define the bays and contain the slabs, while the sandstone gives a softer, more natural finish than standard block paving.

Porcelain Patio with Charcoal Border & Stepping Stones

A grey porcelain paving patio set on a full mortar bed with a charcoal block-paving soldier course and a white pebble margin to give a crisp, contemporary edge. Stepping stones and sleeper-edged lawn beds link the new patio back to the existing garden path and greenhouse area.

Felt Flat Roof with uPVC Roof Lantern

A single-storey rear extension re-roofed in torch-on felt with a new uPVC roof lantern installed over the kitchen. The felt is fully bonded with neat upstands and trim detailing at the parapet and gutter line, and the lantern is set on a level kerb to keep it watertight in driving rain.
